Alumni Benefits and Services

All WesternU graduates are automatically members of the WesternU Alumni Association and are therefore eligible to receive the following alumni benefits and services:

• Health Club Discounts. Health club memberships are available to alumni and their immediate family members at a special WesternU Alumni Association rate.

  • Bally Total Fitness: $149 per year for alumni and any immediate family members.  Membership is good nationwide.

  • LA Fitness: $253 per year for alumni; $179 per year for any immediate family members (cost includes $25 processing fee, and is a multi-club membership valid only within the state of California).

Note: Rates are based on current contracted prices and may be subject to change. Alumni Association discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other fitness discounts. To request more information or to enroll in a fitness membership, simply e-mail the Office of Alumni Relations.

• Pumerantz Library. Access Library resources available to alumni. This guide will provide you with information related to resources and services available to alumni both off-campus and on-campus. For additional information and details regarding library resources for alumni, contact the Library directly at (909) 469-5323 or reference@westernu.edu.

• Access to BanWeb for Alumni. Alumni can search the online alumni directory, check their academic record, order copies of their transcript or a replacement diploma, and more. For assistance logging into BanWeb, please email the Office of Alumni Relations.

• Job Postings. Visit our Career Resource Center to find out about current job openings, career advice, and continuing education opportunities in your discipline. If you are looking to hire a WesternU graduate, please email the job description and deatils to the Office of Alumni Relations. Job postings typically remain online for about 30 days.

• Discounted Insurance
  • Auto and Homeowners Insurance. WesternU alumni receive preferred rates through Liberty Mutual's Group Savings Plus. Please click here to find a local agent and mention "Western University of Health Sciences."
  • Pet Insurance. Alumni Association members receive a 5% affiliate discount on major medical coverage for their pets through Veterinary Pet Insurance, the nation's leading medical insurance for dogs, cats, birds and other common pets. Insure your pet for as little as $10 per month. Coverage includes visits with any licensed veterinarian worldwide, routine care and vaccinations to maintain your pet's good health and quick turnaround time on claims. • Lifetime WesternU.edu Email Address. All alumni of WesternU are eligible for a lifetime westernu.edu email address through the University. If you graduated after 2000, your e-mail address is the same as your student address. If you graduated before 2000, you may request a WesternU e-mail address through the Office of Alumni Relations. WesternU's current policy is to deactivate email accounts for alumni who do not login and check their individual WesternU email within one contiguous year. After 1 year and 30 days, if no request has been made to reactivate the account, the alumni email account will be deleted. This policy is subject to change.
