    Dr. Cosimo Storniolo is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific - Northwest campus in Lebanon, Oregon. He graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelors of Arts in History, then, received his medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He did his internal medicine residency at the University of Rochester Primary Care Internal Medicine Program in Rochester, New York, and completed a Faculty Development Program at Johns Hopkins.

    He is currently a practicing internist in Corvallis, Oregon with the Samaritan Health Systems. He has special interests in global health and geriatrics, and is involved in the Global Health Longitudinal Track at COMP. He has worked overseas for part of his career, including three years in Malawi, Africa, as well as experiences in Ecuador, Haiti, Guatemala, India, and Uganda. He also is the medical director at a local nursing home, and a free medical clinic in Corvallis. He and his wife Meredith have eight children, 4 of whom are adopted. He is the son of Italian immigrants. He enjoys playing soccer and reading history.
