I decided to pursue this fellowship because one of my career goals is to be involved in academia. This fellowship offers experiences not only in teaching, but also opportunities in research, outreach, and to be involved with the university that I believe will enrich me in my path to become an academician. Furthermore, I really value the chance to further develop my OMM skills that I believe would greatly enable me to better care for my patients.
