College of Dental Medicine to receive $8.4 million from First 5 LA
The College of Dental Medicine will receive $8.4 million from First 5 LA to provide dental care to uninsured and underserved children. The First 5 LA Commission approved the initial 19-month contract for $3.1 million with WesternU, part of a five-year, $38 million project in cooperation with UCLA and USC. The total awarded to WesternU through the full five-year implementation of the program is anticipated to be $8.4 million.

The 7th Annual East West Scholarship Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the San Gabriel Hilton. Join us at this exciting event to raise scholarship funds for deserving students.
WesternU Alumni Networking Mixer
WesternU traveled to Irvine to mix and mingle with alumni on Thursday, March 21, 2013. More than 20 alumni were in attendance from several different programs including: COMP, PT, PA and PharmD. Alumni ranging from 1982 to 2012 attended the mixer.
Future alumni mixers will be planned in different cities throughout Southern California. We look forward to meeting up with many of our alumni.
