Disbursement Dates for the Academic Year 2013 - 2014

Loan disbursement dates are based on the length of each program’s enrollment period. These dates are subject to change.

Federal regulations require that all federal funds be divided into equal payments. Dates only apply to students who have completed their Financial Aid and Registration requirements as requested by the designated offices.

Loan Cancellation – You may cancel or reduce the amount of your loan by completing the Loan Adjustment Form located at https://banapps.westernu.edu:4443/ and submitting it to the Financial Aid Office. In addition, you can cancel all or part of your loan after your loan funds are disbursed also completing the Loan Adjustment form as well. If funds are returned to the Department of Education within 120 days of disbursement of funds to the university, interest or loan fees that are assessed will be waived.

For those students that have a “HOLD” on their student accounts your funds will not be disbursed to you on your scheduled date. Funds will be disbursed within 2 working days after your “HOLD” has been cleared.
