Disbursement Dates for the Academic Year 2016/2017
Loan disbursement dates are based on the length of each program’s enrollment period. These dates are subject to change.
Federal regulations require that all federal funds be divided into equal payments. Dates only apply to students who have completed their Financial Aid and Registration requirements as requested by the designated offices.
Loan Cancellation – You may cancel or reduce the amount of your loan by completing the Loan Adjustment Form located at Financial Aid Forms Menu – Financial Aid Year 2015/2016 or 2016/2017 Forms, and submitting it to the Financial Aid Office. In addition, you may cancel all or part of your loan after your loan funds are disbursed by completing the Loan Adjustment form found in BanWeb in the general forms section. If funds are returned to the Department of Education within 120 days of the disbursement of funds to the university, interest and/or loan fees that are assessed will be waived. Please see a financial aid counselor for any questions regarding the return of funds back to your lender.
For those students that have a “HOLD” on their student accounts your funds will not be disbursed to you on your scheduled date. Funds will be disbursed within 2 working days after your “HOLD” has been cleared.
Your financial aid disbursement will be applied to your student account to pay off tuition and other fees before the tuition due date.
If there is a credit balance, it will be disbursed to your checking account on your scheduled disbursement date.
If there is an outstanding balance, payments to resolve your student account will be accepted after financial aid funds have posted.
