Recap on last month?s workshop with a Take-home Project - 30 minutes
- Go over what a good breakfast and dinner would be- ask students what they like to eat and list on whiteboard
- Have each student go over what they will eat next Saturday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Student panel representing WesternU's 10 colleges to talk about different health careers - 50 minutes
- Each will summarize and give pros and cons to each career, as well as length of education for each
- Talk about each person's role in the healthcare system
Presentation on the cardiovascular system and heart mechanics, using cow hearts as models - 40 minutes
- Presented by student volunteers
- Brief overview of common CV problems & how they occur
