The Harriet K. and Philip Pumerantz Library and Learning Resource Center symbolizes WesternU's commitment to the values of learning and research for both students and faculty. Our Mission is to support excellence in education, research, and clinical activities of Western University of Health Sciences through the provision of information resources.
Dedicated on August 16, 2001 the Pumerantz Library provides services to the students, faculty, staff and alumni of Western University of Health Sciences as well as some services to the public community. The four story building, located at the corner of Gibbs and Third Streets marks the western most point of the Pomona campus and can be seen from several places on campus.
The library also houses Western University’s Historical Museum, housing many rare books as well as over 100 medical instruments and pharmacy items. The University Archives is the permanent repository for historically significant materials that reflect the University's origins and development and the activities and achievements of its officers, staff, faculty, students, alumni and benefactors.

Driving directions to the Library
From I-10 (San Bernardino Freeway): Take Garey Avenue south, turn left on Third Street. The library is on the corner of Third and Gibbs.
From Route 60 (Pomona Freeway): Take Garey Avenue north, turn right on Third Street. The library is on the corner of Third and Gibbs.
The library's main entrance is on Gibbs Street.
