About the Archives
The University Archives, as a source of institutional memory, is the official repository for all Western University of Health Science records of administrative, historical, and research value. The University Archivist identifies, collects, preserves, and provides access to records and related material that documents the history and development of the university, including its administrative and academic units and the activities of the faculty, staff, students, and alumni/ae. The University Archives also houses the Personal Papers of the Founding Board of Directors and other individuals who have significantly contributed to the history and development of the University.
The materials housed in the Archives include: minutes, correspondence, reports, studies, and publications, year books, and theses and dissertations. Other materials document events, buildings and the physical campus, student life, and oral histories.
