Located at the corner of Gibbs and Third Streets in Pomona, CA, the Harriet K. and Philip Pumerantz Library and Learning Resource Center symbolizes WesternU's commitment to the values of learning and research for both students and faculty. The four-story library building houses the Library, University Archives and Offices of Information Technology, providing a multitude of services and resources to the entire WesternU community.
Faculty, students and staff are able to enjoy online access to the library catalog and the library's electronic resources from personal computers and mobile devices, both on and off campus.

The Access and Delivery Services Unit is made up of the Acquisitions, Circulation and Resource Sharing departments that offer many services to the WesternU community.
The Circulation department, located at the main desk of the library, assists patrons in checking in and checking out of library materials, renewing items, placing holds and assessing fines and fees for late materials. Other responsibilities of this area include creating study room reservations and printing identification badges.
The Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery department offers services such as providing resources that are not available at the Pumerantz Library through InterLibrary Loan requests, or delivery of our materials to off-campus patrons.

The Pumerantz Library has a growing collection of Electronic Resources. To date we offer over 60 searchable databases, 9,300 electronic journal titles, and 400 electronic books.
Electronic Resources are available 24/7 and can be used off-campus for research and study. Remote access is available to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. Your remote access password is your WesternU Network credentials.

The University Archives serves as the official memory of the Western University of Health Sciences. It is the permanent repository for historically significant materials that reflect the University's origins and development and the activities and achievements of its officers, staff, faculty, students, alumni and benefactors.
In addition to printed materials, the University Archives also includes holdings in other formats: electronic records, photographs, architectural drawings, audio-visual materials, and memorabilia. These materials are a rich source of information, and the University Archivist is available to assist you in finding the information you require.
