Western University of Health Sciences Student Learning Outcome DomainsThe University has adopted a set of eight outcome domains that serve to guide its academic programs in their development and ongoing quality improvement. Within each outcome domain, each academic program has developed and assesses specific ability-based outcomes appropriate to the particular degree program. Overview of College of Allied Health Professions (CAHP) 2011-2012The College of Allied Health Professions supports Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU) in its mission to increase the availability of health care providers to serve the needs of the people living in the western region of the United States. In addition, the College of Allied Health Professions provides educational opportunities for students in a variety of health careers. Classes are offered in an environment intended to foster respect for the uniqueness of humanity. Students are provided with classroom and clinical experiences designed to prepare them to function as competent health care practitioners. There are three academic programs offered in the College of Allied Health Professions: Master of Science in Health Sciences; Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies; Doctor of Physical Therapy.
