What the Registrar's Office Needs You to Do
There are three steps that must be completed while applying in order for the Registrar's Office to have access to your application on our screens for scanning of documents:
- Designate your letters of recommendation individually to each of your programs.
- Pay ERAS for your programs.
- Submit your application through ERAS.
In conjunction with or after completing the three steps listed above, students must submit a written request for an official transcript in order for the Registrar's Office to upload to ERAS. Materials that you will need to request for ERAS include:
- Official Transcript
- Class Rank (optional)
Official Transcripts are $10.00 each and must be purchased via BanWeb.
COMLEX Board Scores will need to be purchased directly through the board. We will no longer be scanning in copies.
When requesting these items, please follow the standard procedure for requesting release of file materials (see Transcript section for further instructions). Remember that our office needs to have receipt of payment before processing any materials you will be requesting. Below are items you will need to supply to our office for uploading:
- A color photo of yourself, approximately 2"-3" in size
- Letters of Recommendation (Note: We only use Letters of Recommendation for uploading to ERAS and will not mail them to another third party or return them to the student; therefore, be sure you have copies before you turn them over to us. We can scan copies of letters if you prefer to keep your originals if it is a clean copy.)
Once we are able to view your application on our ERAS software, we will scan all of the items we have for you. Please do not wait for outstanding letters of recommendation before completing the application process. If the necessary steps are completed as early as possible, we will be able to scan your documents into ERAS without delay. It is not unusual for programs to begin downloading your documents and reviewing your files even with missing letters of recommendation.
The Registrar's Office is here to help you with any step of the application process. Please feel free to contact us at (909) 469-5491 if you have any questions.
