Professional Experience
Working as a medical scribe granted me unrestricted access to medicine in the emergency room and in pediatric cardiology. In addition, I was part of a small team that developed, implemented, and later led a scribe program in the field of pediatric cardiology. These experiences provided me with incredible perspective and insight affirming my passion for medicine. In addition, I spent a year as an assistant collegiate gymnastics coach which helped further foster my interest in teaching.

Narrative
I was very fortunate to have Fellows that facilitated my learning and love for OMM early in my medical school career. I became interested in the Fellowship to continue to grow and learn from the awesome people in the OMM/NMM Dept, further develop my skills in OMM and teaching, and pay it forward by inspiring other students to develop a fondness and appreciation for OMM.
As a former gymnast, I like to flip and jump around, enjoy playing or watching most sports, rock climbing, hiking, golf, anything outside - rain or shine. I’m also partial to country line dancing. I love a challenge, learning new things/places, and good company.
Personal Quote: “Get after it.” -My motto for taking control, taking a risk, and living!
