Education
Dr. Rhim grew up in Chino Hills and completed her undergraduate studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After earning a doctorate degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University, she then completed a three year comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy Hospital (formerly known as the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, South Side Hospital).

Research Interest
During her residency, Dr. Rhim was involved in many complex reconstructive and diabetic limb salvage surgeries of the foot and ankle. Her research interests include developing an alternative surgical technique in tendon transfer using bioabsorbable tendon anchors in the treatment of adult acquired flatfoot deformity. Dr. Rhim has interest in all aspects of foot and ankle care with emphasis in sports medicine, arthroscopy of foot and ankle, diabetic wound management and reconstructive surgery.
Narrative
Dr. Rhim believes in the importance of educating the community regarding early recognition and prevention of common foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Rhim is committed in providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to the most complex reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Rhim is also fluent in Korean. Dr. Rhim enjoys many sports activities including swimming and running.
