The internal medicine rotation is designed to provide student pharmacists with the necessary experience to apply didactic learning into clinical situations and develop pharmacotherapeutic skills.  Student pharmacists will be part of a multidisciplinary health care team providing direct patient care.  Daily patient presentations, weekly disease state presentations, journal clubs, new drug presentations, inservices, patient interventions, a midterm and final exam, are all required as part of completing the rotation
