1985 - 1995: Practiced nursing (liver and kidney transplantation unit, acute dialysis, hospice & community health) in Philadelphia and Southern NJ

1995 - 2000: Practiced small animal medicine and surgery, including housecall practice in Portland, OR

2000-2003: Resident in Veterinary Toxicology, California Animal Health and Food Safety Laboratory System, University of California-Davis, CA

2003 - present: Faculty member at WU (CVM & IPE)
