Narrative
Jonathan received his PharmD from the University of Southern California in 2007. He completed a MS with the Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research and Policy Program (PORPP) at the University of Washington in 2008 as a component of the University of Washington/Allergan Health Economics and Outcomes Research Fellowship (2007-2009). In 2009, Dr. Watanabe returned to PORPP to pursue a PhD that was defended in 2012. His research areas include pharmaceutical and health policy analysis, pharmacoepidemiology, and health services research focusing on health disparities. He practices in long-term care pharmacy.
