The community pharmacy clerkship at Hendricks Pharmacy is designed to provide various experiences necessary to prepare students to become entry-level community pharmacy practitioners. Hendricks Pharmacy provides many learning opportunities ranging from hands on filling and dispensing in the pharmacy department to direct patient care programs and activities such as providing routine and travel-related vaccines, functioning within a pharmacist-run travel health clinic, and screening patient blood glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure values.
