•Animal Handling: As a veterinarian I have experience in handling and restraining primate and rodents, lesion, surgery, tissue and blood sampling from tail vein and heart.
•Histology: autoradiography, frozen, paraffin and plastic sectioning, slide preparation and staining, preparation of tissue for light, electron and scanning microscope.
•In vivo and in vitro Receptor Binding, Receptor mapping, Drug screening, Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT)
•Computer skill: building and fixing (MAC&IBM), experiment forms, data analysis, and database, excel spreadsheet, word processing, graphics, image analysis and coregistration, Analyze, statistics.
•General: experience in handling, using and maintaining of radioactive materials, QC (quality control) GMP, lab equipment, bookkeeping record, ordering lab materials, good Language: verbal and written communication of English and Arabic Language.

Prior Experience
2004-2008: Assistant Professor of Histology and Neuroscience. Saint James School of Medicine, Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles, teaching Neuroscience for MDII students and Histology for MDI students, and also assist in the anatomy lab.

1993-2004: Associate Research Scientist, Yale University, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, I have participate in the development of different probes labeled with Iodine-123 for dopamine D2 receptor (IBZM, IBF), dopamine transporter or cocaine receptor ( Ÿ-CIT) and benzodiazepine receptor (Iomazenil) for evaluation of radioactive tracers binding in nonhuman primates brain and rodents.

1988-1993:Postdoctoral Associate, Yale University, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, in vivo and in vitro localization of dopamine D2 and D1 receptors in the rodent and in nonhuman primate, lesion of rodent cortical area using drugs and interruption of blood supply to cerebral hemisphere by electrocauterization of cerebral artery.

1984-1988: Graduate Teaching Assistance, The University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, teaching small and large animal anatomy for Veterinary students in the lab: Lecture, Dissection and specimen preparation for the lab, participate in laboratory and written test.
