Dr. Aghbashian obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree "B.D.S." and Master of Science in Conservative Dentistry degree "M.Sc" from College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, Baghdad –Iraq,  where he served as a full-time faculty and clinical researcher for many years.

In 2006, he moved to Germany to continue his research in RWTH Aachen University Dental School, many of which have been successfully published in international journals. To further fulfill his passion toward challenges, Dr. Aghbashian pursued his “D.D.S.” degree in the US from the International Dentist Program at University of Californian, San Francisco School of Dentistry and graduated with honors. Upon graduation, he joined a private practice in Burbank CA, and further fulfills his academic passion at the Western University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Aghbashian’s research interest  involves the fields of Laser Applications in Dentistry, Restorative Dental Materials and Endodontology. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Aghbashian is very active as a leader and coordinator of different community based activities to promote better life for underserved people.  In addition to his professional life, Dr. Aghbashian enjoys spending quality time with his family. He also enjoys hiking, fishing and playing tennis.
