Dr Farah-Franco is a native of Southern California. She obtained her Bachelor of Sciences in Microbiology at UCLA in 1993. She then went on to complete her dental degree at USC school of Dentistry in 1997. She then began her practice in various locations through Southern California, the last five years of the eight private paractice years she spent in Rancho Mirage, CA, in a large group practice catering to the families and retirees of the Palm Springs area. In January 2006 she began a full time career in academics and moved to UNLV to teach dentistry and she continued to practice one day a week.She joined Western University of health Science in the fall of 2009 in a full time capacity. She founded the AAWD Western University chapter, designs and implements the dental pre-clinical curriculum. In her free time she enjoys various family activities with her two daughters.
