Sally Morgan, PhD, RN is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director for the RN to MSN track and the Administrative Nurse Leader track. She has over 40 years of nursing experience in education, administration, and practice. She has been a faculty and Director of Nursing for an Associate Degree Nursing Program and the Founding Director for a Baccalaureate Program. Sally has been an educator and the Director of Education in the practice setting as well as patient care experience in women s health, maternal-child, neonatal intensive care and adult medical surgical areas.
Sally received a PhD in Nursing from the University of San Diego, a Masters Degree in Nursing Education from California State University, Dominquez Hills, a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from Mt. St. Mary s College in Los Angeles, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Colorado State University at Pueblo.
Sally has served on statewide committees and projects that have influenced the course of nursing education in California. Her areas of interest are theory, research, curriculum design, professional role development, medication errors, and how nurses learn.
