The Student Government Association (SGA) is the representative governing body of the students at Western University of Health Sciences, and consists of representatives from each class.  The SGA works with the Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff, and other student organizations to bring about changes that will benefit the student body.

Class and club officers are overseen by the Executive Board pictured below. The primary function of the SGA Executive Team is to serve as a liaison between the students, faculty and administration. To get an idea of the role of each executive officer, we have listed some of their responsibilities.

Interested in becoming an executive officer?

Per 4.4.1 of the Student Body Bylaws, elections are held no later than the last week of February.  The officers of President-elect, Vice-President-elect (Pomona and Lebanon) are to be someone who has been a member of the Student Senate. If you are interested in becoming an executive officer, complete the Executive Officer application and be sure to watch for e-mails about the election process.
