Who Will Benefit from Your Contribution
The Academic Excellence Scholarships, funded by the annual “A Tribute to Caring” gala, are recruiting scholarships designated for incoming students and are based on the student’s outstanding achievements as well as their contributions to the community.
These scholarships, up to $10,000, are an acknowledgment and means of recognizing our brightest and most promising students.
"One of my largest obstacles for pursuing a graduate degree is financial. Working full-time to support a family of five and going to school continues to be a challenge. This scholarship could not come at a better time…and I am grateful to those who made it possible..."
Travis Peterson, College of Graduate Nursing

"I was deeply honored to be a recruitment scholarship recipient. It was one of the ways WesternU said that they believed in me. They believed in my dream of becoming an osteopathic physician and my ability to make this dream a reality. The scholarship has supported me as I take the steps to fulfill this dream: academic excellence, teamwork, and community service. When I start practicing medicine I intend to continue this support with my patients and other aspiring medical students."
Susanne Wilhelm, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific
