| (SEF) Business Aptitude award | 3rd Year Student | Simmons & Associates wishes to once again present the 2011 Simmons Educational Fund (SEF) Business Aptitude award to a 3rd year Veterinary student. | Winston Award | Available to two 3rd year students |
The Winston Award was created in honor of the memory of Winston, a much beloved cocker spaniel who suffered from hemangiosarcoma and additional family pets with cancer. The donor family wishes to encourage veterinary students to pursue the field of veterinary oncology thus facilitating advancements in the treatment and compassionate care of companion animals. | Worell Avian Medicine Scholarship | 3rd Year Student | Applications are being sought from current 3rd year students in good standing, with 3.0 GPA or greater, who are seeking or have already secured a 4th year rotation in avain medicine. The planned avain animal medicine rotation must be of a quality acceptable to the CVM Instructional committee. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in or commitment towards avian medicine.
