Dr. J. Mario Molina (President, Molina Healthcare)

Background

Joseph M. Molina, MD, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Molina Healthcare, Inc. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 1996. His father, C. David Molina, MD, founded the company in 1980 to address the special needs of low-income patients. After his father's death in 1996, Dr. Molina assumed leadership of Molina Healthcare, keeping alive the tradition of its commitment to physician management.
