Dr. Michael Krasnow has over 15 years experience with cataract, glaucoma and oculoplastic surgeries. Dr. Krasnow is the only fellowship-trained specialist in southern West Virginia, completing a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. He graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of Pacific and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Tulsa Oklahoma Regional Medical Center. He is a professor in the Family and Community Medicine Department at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. Krasnow is a national consultant and has lectured extensively in the field of ophthalmology. He specializes in cataract surgery and the treatment of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other diseases of the eye.
