How wonderful it is to be able to use your hands as an additional diagnostic tool when searching for the root of your patient's complaints? And how much better when you can use those same hands to help treat (and often find complete resolution for) many of those complaints? We are given unique learning opportunities as students of Osteopathic Medicine (particularly here at Western) and I hope that students take full advantage of these experiences that will distinguish them from many of their future colleagues (and potentially make them better clinicians for it)!

There is no better way to learn something well than to teach it. The NMM/OMM Department here is strong and dynamic; I am excited and privileged to be a part of a group dedicated to helping students learn (and infecting them with enthusiasm for) Osteopathic Medicine and what a difference it can make in people's lives.

After graduation I am interested in going into either Psychiatry or Family Medicine (or both!)

Hobbies:

Reading, music, exercise, cooking (and eating!), pursuing the ultimate microbrew (but trying to get into wine as it's probably better for my health), golf, snowboarding, poker/gambling, daydreaming, and working on reducing my use of parentheses.
