Osteopathic Medicine found me, and I am so blessed for it. There is a connection I get to make with patients when I'm treating them that I just haven't seen in any other environment!
I have always enjoyed teaching - the fellowship allows me to help teach (and learn) more about one of my favorite topics in medical school. I love the people I work with and think we have one of the best departments and curriculum here at Western University!
So far I have enjoyed NMM/OMM, Internal Medicine, Family Practice and Surgery! Needless to say, I am still not 100% sure what I would like to do after graduation.
Hobbies:
I love to travel, enjoy cooking, and am getting back into my artwork. I think it is very important to have interests outside of medical school and encourage students to find one or two things they love to do that they can continue during this journey. I am very blessed to have a nurturing, loving family and supportive understanding friends.
