| Osteopathic Medicine allows me to use my hands to heal as well as practice as a fully licensed physician. I feel this is the best of both worlds and that is why I chose Osteopathic Medicine. I believe that my manual skills will allow me to provide for my patients in a unique and meaningful way. I chose the fellowship because it gives me more time to explore the branches of the Osteopathic tree and I get to develop my teaching skills at the same time. When I grow up I think I want to practice Family Medicine and NMM/OMM, but I am going to see what happens during 3rd year rotations before I decide. |

Hobbies:
Before medical school, I travelled as much as I could, made jewelry, fumbled around with guitar, watched cricket with my husband and read books of all sorts. Medical school has permitted me to cultivate my love of espresso and good studying music (Fat Freddy's Drop's Based on a True Story has never let me down). This year I have started practicing what may be the perfect exercise: yoga.
