During my tenure at UCLA, I partook in Honors Research in Biological Psychology and Programming graduate students seminars. It is here that I also found solace in yoga, venturing out to various centers throughout the United States participatiing in Ayurvedic retreats and lectures. The simplicity and beauty of health using this approach made me apprecaite the alternative paths differing from allopathic medicine and soon found Osteopathy. It is my zeal for the preservation of humanism in medicine, which has enabled me to utilize Osteopathic principles on every patient, as I approach medicine as a practical application.
My desire to be a fellow stems from my past, my present and my future. I feel the fellowship will offer me the framework to run an osteopathic Center in the future. It also provides me with a group of people who share the same passion for NMM/OMM and who are able to work together to ensure the full and proper understanding of the practice. I strongly, but humbly feel that as a fellow I am a part of the vital centers of our school. the Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department.
