2009 Honors Day Awards
Academic Achievement Award
Given to a graduate nursing student who has demonstrated academic excellence and leadership in nursing and is a positive role model for future nurse practitioners.
Spirit Award
Given to a graduate nursing student for contributing to the spirit of the class and being supportive of class members.
CGN Leadership and Community Excellence Award
Given to a graduate nursing student has demonstrated professional leadership and commitment within the student's community.
Dean's Award
Given to a graduate nursing student for service to the University and the community, leadership ability, and good academic standing.
Corinne Faith Donatini Memorial Award
Given to a nursing student who demonstrates academic achievement, compassion and spirituality in interactions with patients, and an interest in the area of neonatal and/or obstetric nursing.
Roy G. and Marion L. Kramer Scholarship Fund Award
Given to a graduate nursing student for academic achievement, community service and financial need.
Students Service Appreciation Award
Given to a graduate nursing student who has gone above and beyond the pressures of the program by connecting the College to the Western University Community and the future nursing students.
University Awards
President's Society Award
Presented to students in recognition of academic excellence, financial need and service to the College.
Linda Fox Memorial Endowment Fund
Presented to students in good academic standing to help defray travel expenses during clerkships or expenses associated with thesis special projects.
Arthur Madorsky, MD, Memorial scholarship Award
presented in memory of Dr. Art Madorsky, who was a member of the Board of Trustees and faculty, given to one or more students with disabilities who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.
