These are awards and honors that recoginze the student's academic performance while attending school.
2009 Honors Day Awards
Physical Therapy Student Recognition Award
Given to a second year student for performance in the first year of the Physical Therapy curriculum, for service to the College and the community, leadership ability, and good academic standing.
Class of 2010 Physical Therapy Award
Given to a second year Physical Therapy student for contributing to the morale of the class and being supportive to the College.
Elizabeth A. Rogers Chairperson's Award
Given to a Physical Therapy student who best exemplifies a well-rounded lifestyle including mental, social, physical and spiritual aspects.
Rebecca E. Pabst Memorial Scholarship Award
Given to a second year Physical Therapy student who is nominated by classmates and the Department of Physical Therapy Education Faculty for exhibiting the following characteristics: Commitment and enthusiasm for the Physical Therapy profession, compassion, helpfulness to other students and participation in extra-curricular activities.
Dean's Award
Given to a Physical Therapy student for service to the College and the community, leadership ability, and good academic standing.
University Awards
President's Society Award
Presented to students in recognition of academic excellence, financial need and service to the College.
Linda Fox Memorial Endowment Fund
Presented to students in good academic standing to help defray travel expenses during clerkships or expenses associated with thesis special projects.
Arthur Madorsky, MD, Memorial Scholarship Award
Presented in memory of Dr. Art Madorsky, who was a member of the Board of Trustees and faculty, given to one or more students with disabilities who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.
