2009 Honors Day Awards
The Stella & R. Ashley Robinson Prize
Given to a first or second year student for academic excellence.
VCA Central Animal Hospital Scholarship Award
Given to a first or second year student for demonstration of compassion in the care of companion animals.
Simmons & Associates Business Aptitude Award
Given to a frist or second year student for leaderdship entrepreeurial interest, communication skills, and ability to function as a team player.
Nestle' Purina Award for Companion Animal Nutrition
Awarded to a student who has demonstrated both interest and excellence in companion animal nutrition.
Wegert Schoarship
Awarded to third and fourth year students. Applications are available from Banfield.
Hill's Pet Nutrition Student Case Study Award
Given to a third year student for best presentation of an original small animal case study to illustrate and explain the application of clinical nutrition and use of a Hill's Prescription Diet Product.
Wintson Award
Given to a third year student iterested in oncology demonstrated by selecting a fourth year rotaion in oncology, CV and essay.
Betty J. Jones & The Cassius Cat Foundation
Given to a freshman in recognition of their commitment to Veternary Medicine, good academic standing, and financial need.
Dean's Award
Given to a DVM student for service to the University and the community, leadership ability, and good academic standing. Dean makes the final decision.

President's Society Award

Linda Fox Memorial Endowment Fund
Presented to students in good academic standing to help defray travel expenses during clerkships or expenses associated with thesis special projects.
Arthur Madorsky, MD, Memorial Scholarship Award
Presented in memory of Dr. Art Madorsky, who was member of the Board of Trustees and faculty, given to one or more students with disabilities who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.
