Alternative Lender List

The staff at Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU) Financial Aid Office has established our alternative loan list to assist you in making a decision on a lender that best meets your needs. The Financial Aid Office requires that if you are going to borrow alternative loans that you go through the pre-approval process before we will certify a loan. Simply click on the lender link. These links bring you directly to the lender website. Once you complete the pre-approval process you will be notified of your status. Upon approval your lender will send the Financial Aid Office an e-mail asking for certification.

As a borrower you have the right and ability to select the education loan provider of your choice, even though they are not shown on our lender list. Selecting a lender that is currently not on our list will not have any consequences; all loans will be processed in a timely manner.

WesternU s lender list does not contain any lender that has offered or solicited any financial or other benefits to be a part of our lender list.

Please do not apply for your alternative loans more than 60 days prior to your enrollment start date.
