Be a good listener.
Provide concise answers to all questions asked.

Relate your accomplishments to the university's requirements. In order to do this, you need to know what the institution is looking for (this should be a part of your research).
Ask well-thought-out questions (have a few prepared before the interview).
By the time you leave, you want them to know why they should accept you.
Be certain that the next step in the process is discussed prior to closing the interview.
After the interview, ask for the names of your interviewers (spelled correctly) and send a thank you letter.
And above all, BE YOURSELF and BE HONEST!
