MSN Completion Program Graduation Requirements

Students will be considered candidates for the Master of Science in Nursing provided he/she:
  • Has completed all course requirements with a minimum grade of B for each course (an overall GPA of 3.0).
  • Received approval for and have filed their completed culminating project in the MSN/FNP Program Office.
  • Has complied with all the legal and financial requirements of the University as stated in the University Catalogue.
  • Demonstrated no serious deficiencies in ethical, professional, or personal conduct as outlined in Standards of Professional Conduct.

All students must attend in person and participate in the Commencement program at which time the degree is conferred, unless the President of Western University of Health Sciences has granted special permission to waive this requirement. If the President grants special permission to be excused from graduation, the graduate may be required to present himself or herself to the Provost or appropriate Dean at a later date in order to take the required oath (if relevant) to receive his or her diploma.
