Average Acceptance Profile

Admission to Western University's Physician Assistant program is a highly selective process. Successful candidates for admission will demonstrate, through academic preparation in the sciences and liberal arts that they are thoroughly prepared to function as highly competent, caring students. While grades and test scores are important as measures of academic qualification, they do not, by themselves, guarantee later success as a physician assistant or as a student at Western University.

The Admissions Committee seeks a diverse and balanced student population and considers factors such as a well-rounded background, community service, interpersonal skills, letters of recommendation, interest in and knowledge of primary care, and a commitment to compassionate health care.
