University HolidaysWestern University observes the following days as paid holidays:

New Year's Day	Labor Day
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day	Columbus Day
President's Day	Thanksgiving Day
Memorial Day	Day after Thanksgiving
Independence Day	Christmas Day

The current policy is for the University to be closed between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. This policy is always subjected to change depending on the needs of the University. Holiday schedule may also vary in certain Colleges/Departments that remain open during the holidays.
