Address Changes and Travel

Address Changes

It is the responsibility of Western University to keep accurate records on each F-1 student and provide information to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Address changes must be reported to Western University within 10 days of the change. This includes any changes throughout your program of study or during Optional Practical Training after completion of your program. To report a change of address, you must complete a Change of Address Form and return it to the Admissions Office. Failure to report a change of address within 10 days is a violation of your F-1 status and can result in serious immigration problems for you.
