Currently the newest addition to the LEAD office, I bring an established background in the development of reading, writing, and critical thinking strategies. Prior to beginning my tenure at Western Univesity, I have served as faculty in the English and Philosophy departments of a number institutions including Fresno State, San Jose City College, Monterey Peninsula College, and Ohlone College. My work in the classroom has centered on developing the skill sets students need to survive and thrive in their academic endeavors, and with a little luck, beyond. I hope that my experience with helping students engage reading, writing and studying strategies will be a resource students will make significant use of.
