Requesting Material
Before requesting material, please check the Online Catalog and the Electronic Resources page to make sure the item you are requesting is available.
Books
Requests for books or specific book information (i.e. a chapter or section, when the entire book is not needed) may be submitted using the library's Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery software ILLiad. Under "New Request" select "Request a Book Chapter".
The citation for books must include the author, title, edition, call number and page numbers when applicable.
Articles
Article citations may be submitted by filling out the Request an Article form.
IEALC
Library users from affiliated institutions of Western University must show proper identification for borrowing privileges. Under an agreement with IEALC (Inland Empire Academic Library Cooperative), students from those schools may have borrowing privileges with a valid interlibrary use card. Upon payment of the appropriate annual membership fees, borrowing privileges are also available to Pomona area health professionals and others who have a legitimate professional need for library materials.
