PubMed PubMed is the National Library of Medicine's search service that provides access to over 11 million citations in Medline, PreMedline, and other related databases. ScienceDirect ScienceDirect is a single source for scientific, technical, and medical information on the Internet. Researchers can access journal titles and full-text articles and search the abstract and indexing databases. Web of Science - Science Citation Index Expanded The Science Citation Index Expanded provides access to current and retrospective bibliographic information, author abstracts, and cited references found in approximately 5,900 scholarly science and technical journals covering more than 150 disciplines. The Science Citation Index Expanded format is available through Web of Science. Back file coverage is 1980-present. International Centre for Eye Health - ICEH ICEH is a collaborating centre of the WHO Programme for the Prevention of Blindness. The International Centre for Eye Health (ICEH) carries out research and education activities to improve eye health and eliminate avoidable blindness, with a focus on low income populations. Lighthouse International Founded in 1905, Lighthouse International is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to preserving vision and to providing critically needed vision and rehabilitation services to help people of all ages overcome the challenges of vision loss. National Board of Examiners in Optometry To serve the public and the profession of optometry by developing, administering, scoring, and reporting results of valid examinations that assess competence. National Eye Institute The National Eye Institute (NEI) was established by Congress in 1968 to protect and prolong the vision of the American people. National Optometric Association To develop a sense of professional and community awareness of the status of eye/vision health nationally, with a special emphasis on minority communities, and to make known the impact of eye/vision dysfunction on the health and productivity of our citizens and on the academic proficiency of our students. Vision 2020 VISION 2020 member organisations are working together to eliminate avoidable blindness worldwide by the year 2020, in order to give everyone in the world the Right to Sight.
