Lorri Clayton, MSN, RN, CNS, is a full time faculty member who has practiced in the areas of psychiatric and medical-surgical nursing.
She is a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino, where she received her BSN and MSN. Lorri is a Community Health Clinical Nurse Specialist with a focus in vulnerable populations. She is certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in California. Professional areas of interest include community education to erase the stigma that surround individuals and their families who live with mental illness, and working with community members to improve the mental health within communities. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, an honor society for nursing, the Association of Community Health Nurse Educators, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the International Society for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses. |
