Anita Kinser, EdD, RN-BC is a part-time faculty member with over 27 years of nursing experience. Her clinical experience includes obstetrics, pediatric, medical-surgical, gynecology, geriatric, orthopedic nursing and nursing management. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Nursing Informatics and was appointed to the ANCC's Content Expert Panel for Nursing Informatics for the 2004-2008 term. Anita has experience in computer lab development, online program development and teaching, electronic medical records system implementation, and integration of technology into nursing education curriculum. Anita holds a BS in Health Care Management from the University of LaVerne and an MSN from CSU, Dominguez Hills, majoring in Nursing Education. She earned a Doctorate in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University in 2004.
Anita's education experience includes over 12 years in Associate Degree, Baccalaureate, and Master's degree nursing programs. Her professional areas of interest are integration of technology into nursing education, distance education, and providing health care and access to vulnerable populations. |
