Lolla Mitchell, RN, MSN is presently the Director on Nursing Operations and Clinical Practice at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in California. Her role includes management of nurse staffing and fiscal responsibility for overall nursing staff budget. Other areas of responsibility are advisor to clinical practice and implementation and monitoring of JCAHO standards related to nursing care and the National Patient Safety Goals. Previous roles have included Director of Critical Care Services and Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. Lolla was recognized in 2004 for the Caring Spirit Award for Nursing Innovation by the Press-Enterprise. She received her BSN from Cal State University, Fullerton, CA and her MSN from Loma Linda University School of Nursing, Loma Linda, CA.

Currently Ms. Mitchell, Assistant Professor of CGN, is co-teaching Advanced Health Systems with Professor Lisa Goldstein.
