Description of Academic/Research Interests:
Dr. Jun's area of academic/research interests are primarily in ambulatory care patients with chronic diseases. She provides didactic lectures to students in the areas of diabetes and asthma/COPD. Other research interests lie in diabetes and other health care concerns of Latino patients in urban settings.

Rotation Description:
The Ambulatory Care Clerkship at Western University Medical Center is designed to provide various clinical experiences necessary to prepare students to become entry level practitioners. The students will be involved in direct patient care activities in a primacy care clinic setting and will have opportunities to work with other health care professionals. The pharmacy students will be working very closely with other students from different disciplines, namely DO and PA students to formulate a plan for the patients seen at the clinic. The students are expected to serve as an integral member of the multidisciplinary health care team to provide drug therapy to patients. Students are required to present a journal club as well as a final presentation which is givien to the rest of the staff, faculty, and students at the clinic.
