Description of Academic/Research Interests:
Dr. Sheryl Chow received her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut and Pharm.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Buffalo General Hospital. Before joining the Faculty at Western University in 2004, Dr. Chow worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator for both the Internal Medicine Teaching Service and Cardiology, in addition to her adjunct faculty positions in both the Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine at SUNY-Buffalo. Her didactics, clinical practice, and research interests at Western University are focused in acute care cardiology with an emphasis on heart failure.

Rotation description:
The medicine/cardiology clerkship is designed to provide clinical experience in the acute care of patients with cardiovascular disease states. Students will be involved in direct patient care activities in the emergency department and the cardiovascular intensive care unit. Current rotations available: Medicine/Cardiology, Cardiovascular research, and Advanced Elective.
