Do you enjoy hunting for collectibles and antiques? Pomona's Antique Row is just to the west of campus and offers you several antique and collectibles shops. Be sure to look closely, for you may recognize some of the buildings the Mike Meyers' movie "Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat" shot several scenes right on Antique Row and many of the buildings still sport the bright colors featured in the film's "downtown" scenes.

The Arts Colony is within walking distance of campus and boasts a bi-monthly arts and crafts fair along with an array of eclectic shops, music clubs and museums.

The Historical Society of Pomona Valley restores and showcases many historical homes and sites in the area. It also hosts various events such as the Adobe de Palomares Rancho Fiesta and Barbeque and the Annual Phillips Mansion Old-Fashion Barbeque.

The Planes of Fame Air Museum is just down the street in Chino and showcases many World War II-era planes. It also hosts various air shows and special events.

Cal Poly University Theater hosts many theatrical, dance and musical performances throughout the year.

American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA). Founded in 2001 and opened in September, 2004, AMOCA is one of the few museums in the United States devoted exclusively to ceramic art and historic innovations in ceramic technology. It is located in an area abounding with ceramic history and internationally recognized clay artists from the Arts and Crafts Movement, the 60's Clay Revolution and the current Studio Pottery Era. Geographically, the building is located in an urban downtown district where art is an important element of the continuing and successful community revitalization program.
