FAQs About Online Registration
;
What are placeholder course numbers and how do I use them?
Placeholder course numbers are used by students to register each term. Students register only for the CRN listed next to their class in the chart above. Once you have completed registration for the placeholder course, the Registrar's Office will process your registration and place you in the correct courses.
Will I receive a confirmation e-mail once I've completed registration?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation e-mail once the Registrar's Office has processed your registration. Typically, you will receive the confirmation e-mail (at your WesternU e-mail account) within1 business day of completion of registration.
Where can I find my course schedule?
Course schedules are distributed by the College, not by the Registrar's Office. For incoming students, course schedules are typically handed out during your College's orientation activities. Schedules for continuing students can be found on BlackBoard.
I don't see a place to enroll for fitness and insurance - aren't these services available in the Spring or Summer term?
No, fitness and insurance sign-ups are only available during the Fall term. If you are a new student and were admitted to the Spring term, you will need to contact the Registrar's Office to provide proof of current insurance coverage or enroll in the school's insurance.
What happens if I register after the deadline posted for my class?
All students who register after the deadline posted for their program and year will be assessed a $30.00 per business day late fee. If there are extenuating circumstances, you may appeal your late fees in writing to the University Registrar. Please address your appeals to Kimberley deKruif, MBA; Western University of Health Sciences, 309 E. 2nd Street, Pomona, CA 91766 or send via e-mail to kdekruif@westernu.edu. Students must submit their appeal within 10 days of the start of classes in the semester that they were assessed late fees. All appeals will be responded to within 48 hours.
